Through imaginative adaptations of beloved children’s literature and contemporary favorites, the company connects literature, learning, and the magic of live theatre.
Next Page Productions presents a full season in the intimate 300-seat North Theatre, including weekday school matinees for student groups and public performances for audiences of all ages. Every production is brought to life by professional artists and accompanied by curriculum-connected educational resources that extend the experience beyond the stage.

Andrew Swanson is the Founder and Executive Producer of Next Page Productions, the resident Theatre for Young Audiences company at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie. A graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a B.A. in Theatre Arts, Andrew has built his career in theatre production, marketing, and audience development, working with organizations such as Broadway In Chicago, Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, Missoula Children’s Theatre, and Theatre at the Center. He is passionate about creating exceptional theatrical experiences that inspire students, educators, and families, while fostering a lifelong love of live theatre. Through Next Page Productions, Andrew hopes to inspire the next generation of theatre lovers, one story at a time.

Michael Potsic is a known force in the theatre, music, and comedy scene in Chicago. As a performer, he has been seen in productions at the Marriott Lincolnshire, Paramount Aurora, Theatre at the Center and Kokandy Productions. His directing and choreography credits include: Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, Elephant & Piggie, Sister Act, SpongeBob the Musical, The Wedding Singer, and Hadestown: Teen Edition. As a composer and lyricist, Michael’s work has been featured with various TYA companies, The Second City Training Center and his musical Flight—based on the Greek myth of Icarus—has been presented both in concert and fully staged productions throughout Chicagoland. He also performs as Michael’s Music Machine, a children’s poprecording artist with two albums available on all streaming platforms.
